Our passion for collecting bears and teddy bears started many years ago. I had my first teddy bear at the age of 3. He was my best friend and protector, I took him everywhere. He was always ready for hugs. It was the warm fuzzy feeling of comfort and nostalgia that kept me collecting over the years.

I was later introduced to jointed teddy bears and mohair bears which I absolutely adored. Always on the hunt for the next teddy bear treasure I could find. Teddy bear collecting has come a long way since I first started out as a collector. Since then my daughter and granddaughter are the new generation of collectors. We now have some fanatically whimsical creatures with each bear and his or her own distinct personality and character. When Charlie Bears came on the scene we instantly fell in love with these teddies.
